The new Gs Audio IRON MK2 12″/30cm is the evolution of the famous IRON model, designed to offer even higher performance and continuous power up to 1250W RMS, while maintaining compact dimensions ideal for installations in cars for daily use. Like the previous model, the IRON 12 retains the same rugged and reliable construction:

• 175x20mm double ferrite magnet, total weight of about 9kg

• 3.2″ 100% purecoppercoil with 42mm winding height for musical accuracy and optimal thermal management

• Ventilated and cooled magnet assembly for high performance even under stress

• Professional bonding with two-component adhesive and screwed spider assembly for exceptional mechanical seal

• Elastic rubber edge for a perfect pneumatic seal

• Nickel-plated brass 6mm² spring clamps for stable and secure connections

• Highly rigid round carbon dust cap to improve cone strength and promote coil cooling

The IRON 12″ MK2 is for now available in a dual 2 Ohm version. This new model achieves a higher power level than its predecessor: for this, updated T/S parameters and recommended box designs are available in the official data sheet (uploaded at the end of the description). 

With their resonant frequency between 36 Hz and 37 Hz, IRON subwoofers are perfect for everyday listening and especially for music genres such as bass and hip-hop. For fans of techno and high BPM tracks, we recommend reducing the recommended box width by about 10 cm and increasing the box tuning by 3-4 Hz for faster response.
