The main innovation includes a composite fiber cone and dust cover, a new basket reduced by about 2 millimeters in height, and a Y38BH ferrite magnet with a convex bottom polar plate. The latter feature enables better installation in all cars with shallow door panels.The massive magnet assembly, round foam suspension, and ultra-low carbon steel plates provide excellent efficiency and dynamics as early as 50-60 Hz for bass lovers in doors.The copper demodulation ring inside the magnet and the coil with CCAW filament on a composite fiber backing provide excellent thermal sealing as well as remarkable linearity of the impedance curve, helping the loudspeaker to “rise in frequency.”Thiele-Small parameters testify to the quality of the product.
